Meet Jennifer Nadia Mancini
Jennifer is a professional hair stylist trained at the Private Institue de Beauté Nicole Bisson. With over 6 years of experience at such salons as La Coupe, G.L. Touch and West Spa St-Laurent, she is a creative force to be reckoned with. Her professional passions include wedding hair and re-creating the fashionable hair of the eras.
In her spare time, Jen likes doing hair behind the scenes at fashion shows, and even high school plays. But this lovely young lady is not just about hair. She also loves art, poetry and traveling – who doesn’t? Look out for Jen’s monthly blog posts as she shares her experience about everything hair with us.
Meet Maggie Richardson
Maggie works a 9 to 5 job in an office. “Blaaaah” as she likes to call it! But in her spare time she loves to research and talk about things that mean everything and nothing at all. We are lucky to have her share her thoughts on hair, beauty, fashion and healthy living. While she may not be an expert in any one particular topic, she brings a unique woman’s perspective to looking good and feeling great. The Chatbox wouldn’t be the same without her!
Meet Sabrina Giancioppi
Sabrina is currently completing a major in English Literature at Concordia University with aspirations to break into journalism. Early contributions can be found in the Vanier College newspaper, The Insider and most recently, the LIFE section of The Concordian.
Sabrina takes joy in researching and writing and uses it as a learning experience to improve her journalistic abilities. Her writing style is versatile with a slight wittiness and contemporary savoir-faire. In addition, she loves music, concerts, literature, photography, movies and creative writing. Her student perspective combined with her journalistic flare makes for great reading.
Meet Alistar Francis
Al is your regular garden variety computer geek. A software engineer in training and profession, he is glued to his computer day and night and is a huge fan of “googling” any topic he does not know. We got his attention long enough to convince him to start blogging – and the rest is history.
Al teaches us to incorporate technology with beauty and wellness by using smart phone applications and any other cool trend from the world wide web. Every once and a while he’ll even slip in a tip about what’s going on in the salon and spa industry…technology-wise that is.
Meet Stylz the Cat
Stylz is our favourite furry mascot. He loves hanging out at the spa and gets regular grooming at his favourite salons. And while the whole gang at Findsalonspa.com loves his companionship, he gives us all a scare by running away every once and a while. We frequently have to offer rewards and prizes to get him back to us! Luckily, Stylz is nice enough to leave us clues on Facebook to help us locate him, and we are ever so grateful to our loyal Facebook fans for finding him time and time again.
