As individuals, we face various challenges every day and are expected to be resilient and bounce back from difficult situations without a glitch. With “self-help” books being all the rage, we asked Sabrina to do a little research and come up with a good recommendation. While previously a non-believer in self-help “psycho babble” as she likes to call it, Sabrina was converted when she was introduced to Miguel Ruiz’s The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom. I guess self-help isn’t so bad after-all!

Mustering up the motivation to workout after a long day of work or school can defnitely be a challenge! Sabrina tells us how yoga taught her to stop viewing exercise as a chore. In fact, after getting over the fear of being out of her element, she realized that yoga can be quite a meaningful experience, allowing her to connect with her mind and body, as well as catching up on some much needed “me” time.
