The Montreal Fashion & Design Festival celebrated its 10th anniversary this weekend with an even bigger and better event than usual (who knew that was even possible?) Maggie walked about the festival Friday and shares a few pictures she snagged with her blackerry camera phone and of course, her unsollicated two cents about fashion, beauty and design - Montreal style!

Body hair is like that cat that keeps coming back and back and back. No matter what you do to get rid of it, it haunts you still. Lauren shares some hair removal techniques offered at Jasper Studio in Toronto that work great for those more sensitive areas like face and bikini. And while pain may be part of the equation - at least for a very short period of time - women everywhere stand to gain with beautiful baby-like touchable skin....ahhhh how nice!

As individuals, we face various challenges every day and are expected to be resilient and bounce back from difficult situations without a glitch. With "self-help" books being all the rage, we asked Sabrina to do a little research and come up with a good recommendation. While previously a non-believer in self-help "psycho babble" as she likes to call it, Sabrina was converted when she was introduced to Miguel Ruiz’s The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom. I guess self-help isn't so bad after-all!
